Professor Yunus Lands in Chattogram for a Day-Long Visit to Promote Regional Development

Professor Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh, landed in Chattogram today at 9:22 AM via a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight, marking the beginning of his day-long visit to the port city. The visit is set to focus on addressing developmental issues, promoting economic growth, and engaging with local authorities on various social initiatives.

Upon arrival at Shah Amanat International Airport, Yunus was welcomed by local officials and community leaders, eager to hear his views on sustainable business practices and social welfare strategies. As a Nobel laureate and social business pioneer, Yunus is known for his innovative approach to alleviating poverty and promoting women’s empowerment in Bangladesh and beyond.

During his visit, Yunus is expected to engage in discussions about fostering youth development, expanding education opportunities, and supporting entrepreneurship through his renowned Grameen Bank model and other social enterprises. The focus will be on integrating these models to tackle key regional challenges and promote long-term prosperity in Chattogram.
